the angling section |

The
Angling Section is a friendly, family orientated group of members
of varying ages and lifestyles who are interested in recreational
and competitive fishing, whether it be from a boat or the beach.
Sections include; mini junior (0-8 years), junior (8-16 years),
ladies and men. Boat angling competition days are on the third Sunday
of each month (during most boat competition weigh-ins we provide
a barbecue for the hungry anglers). We also have one beach competition
during the year, this weekend away is very popular, if not for the
fishing but for the socialising.
As
a new member or if you have children who are interested to learn
you will find the Angling Section easy to approach and willing to
share our knowledge. The Angling Section meets informally in the
clubhouse on the second Wednesday of each month at 7.30pm.
Inshore
and deep sea
fishing
If you
don't have a boat, don't worry, the club vessel, Balaton Jack is
generally involved in all boat competitions. Balaton Jack also goes
out inshore fishing on Wednesday mornings
