Take
a sunset cruise on the Indian Ocean twlightsailing..pdf
Please meet promptly at 5.30pm at the club as
vessels will depart at 6pm . These events
are informal in nature and provide an opportunity for like minded
spirits to enjoy an hour or so of sailing on warm balmy evenings
while watching the sun set over
the Indian Ocean. After
sailing and weather permitting, sailors relax together with a meal
and drinks on the lawned area.
This is an open invitation to all our fellow members and their friends
and family who would like to join us. You
do not need to book for twilight sailing, just arrive at the club
at 5.30pm prompt. Please wear non marking shoes.
Weather permitting please check:“Those wishing to participate in twilight sailing events are very welcome. Sometimes however, our evening breezes are a little bit too strong for comfort. Interested sailors should check the weather website www.seabreeze.com.au/graphs before deciding to come down for a twilight sail. The Club has decided that the twilight event will not be sailed if the breeze is shown on the website as 20 knots or greater at the time of the scheduled sail – 6 pm. Instead we will all enjoy a quiet drink on a stable table in the Wet Bar – and talk about what might have been if we’d had a sub-20 knot breeze!”
