Harbour Classic Fishing Competition

Once again Hillarys Yacht Club extends a warm invitation to all anglers to participate in the annual Harbour Classic Fishing Competition. This is an open competition and all anglers in Western Australia are invited to fish in this event to show their expertise by catching the best of the named species.
Members are also encouraged to join us in one of the largest local fishing competitions of the year, friends and family are very welcome. We thank all our sponsors, and wish all competitors a safe and enjoyable day fishing as guests of Hillarys Yacht Club.
Over $22,000 worth of prizes are up for grabs for successful anglers. We also have a luck door prize available for all who register and fish in the event and are back at the Clubhouse for the presentations in the evening. This door prize is a 3m Rigid Hull Inflatable with 15hp, 2 stroke outboard includes oars and pump!
Food & Drink specials will be available on the day.

Harbour Classic Event Information
Every competitor must sign on at the WASH DOWN AREA at Hillarys. Please see the event schedule below:
5.30am: Sign on opens. All competitors must sign on at Hillarys near the Hillarys ramp wash down area
6.30am: Competition will start. Notification of start over radio on frequency VHF72 and 27.90
8.00am: Sign on closes
12.00pm: Sign off area will open and competitors must sign off at the Hillarys ramp wash down area.
3.00pm: Competition will finish and sign off. Any competitor not signed off by 3.15pm will be disqualified
4.00pm: Weigh in will begin at the Hillarys Yacht Club Marina Clubroom
6.00pm: All prizes will be presented at Hillarys Yacht Club on the tabulating of results
Hessian Bags will be available to purchase for $5 to store your fish in. Available at the sign on area.
Fish will only be accepted in natural fibre bags (no plastic)

The Fisheries Department will be available during the weigh in for anyone wanting to have the earbones taken from the fish you have caught.
